RG Wing EW

My first completed kit of 2017!  I won this kit at the Hobbytown Lewisville Grand Prix last year. I wasn't too impressed with it at first but once I took a closer look, the colors and design really grew on me. I especially like he shield, rifle and legs. I didn't detail or paint this kit because I wanted to see what it looked like if I put all the stickers (there are A LOT) and panel lined it. In some areas the stickers are way overboard, but overall they add nice detail to the kit. It's pretty much an out of box build, with panel lines. Enjoy!

I really like the way this kit looks in bird mode! Not every mobile suit can pull it off.  I think the shield and rifle being the nose are key to the aesthetic.

I like the camera design on the head.

Looks pretty good but I really think Bandai should switch all decals to water slides or dry transfers. The new Star Wars X Wing kit has stickers AND water slides, which is perfect because that pretty much satisfies everyone. At least the stickers look decent in photos.

Those legs!  Just the right amount of detail, and the stickers accent it nicely.

It actually stands on it Feet with no assistance! The rifle and shield counter balance the wings quite nicely.
