Welcome back, it’s been a while! Over the last month I’ve moved from Dallas to Boise because I got a promotion! The new job has been great and I managed to complete this kit in the middle of the transition. I didn’t get any WIP pics but this was a straight build, paint and detail so there wasn’t much to document. I managed to complete it in time for a model competition here in Boise, and it took second place in the Gundam category :)  The leaves here turn a gorgeous golden yellow and I managed to get some of that in a few pics I took outside.

This kit was a generous gift from the Texas Gundam Club (Dallas chapter). As my way of saying thanks I got some custom decals and put all my paint skill into making it really pop. Thanks guys!

Ah, yeah check those awesome leaves! So glad I started taking some pics outside, natural lighting is amazing!

I got some good dramatic light in the shadows at dusk, check it out!

The red in the head and waist piece has a little fluorescent mixed in for some extra pop :)
